Every night at Bubby's, the smokers fire up — hickory wood from around the county, racks of St. Louis pork ribs, bone-in chicken, and hand-pulled pork shoulders slow-cooked for 10 to 12 hours. By the time the doors open at 11 AM, the aroma alone has already made up your mind.
Bubby's BBQ has become a Southern Kentucky institution. Families plan their vacations around a stop at Bubby's. Regulars drive 45 minutes just to sit down with a plate of ribs and a scoop of peach cobbler. The kind of place that, once you go, you bring someone new every time you return.
Beyond the pit, the kitchen delivers golden fried catfish (never run out, or they'd have to lock the door), crispy fried chicken, country-fried steak, classic Southern sides, and a dessert bar that finishes every meal right.
Buffet selections rotate daily — 50 to 60 items available each day. Friday features Frog Leg Friday on the buffet. Carryout buffet available at $7.99/lb.
